Am 7 Uhr Morgen fliege ich nach New York für das SES conference.

Ich bin erst am 4ten März zurück.
Ich bringe aber mit eine Berichte über das Event.

Ich denke ich wurde die chance ab und zu hier reinzuschauen.

Its 6:50 in the morning, and I havn't been to bed yet (blame the yahoo 10th birthday party) .
Im typing in english as basically im too shattered (mude/blau) to even think about translating right now.

Anyway, lots of interesting stuff and interesting people here in New York.

It is amazing how the subject focus has shifted with speakers on this SES compared to the one in London last year that I attended and reported on. Last year the panel on the SE algorithms was still referring to on-page optimization (titles, heading tags, keyword density etc). This year on-page optimization was not brought up once in any speakers presentation. It wasnt even mentioned in the Q&A session. It was solely focused on off-page ranking criteria, namely link/domain popularity. What precisely was said and discussed I'll go through in more detail when I write the full report but its good to see that the panelists of this SES have updated their presentations to match the reality of algorithms today.
Those who have been following this forum and are experienced seos will already know that off page criteria is the 'A u. O' of a top ranking.The fact the whole focus by the search engines was on this theme in their presentation confirms that off page criteria is where they are most focused themselves.

The most entertaining of sessions so far has to be the "What is Spam" presentation.

There was someone representing white hat SEO and another black hat. It was highly amusing to see the reaction of the white hat when the black hat said..

"You arnt a real SEO until you have had at least one site banned"


I'll go into more detail on my return.
Anyway, my next session is in 1 3/4 hours so I think it might be an idea to get at least an hours sleep.

Sorry this is in english. Actually, you would probably understand this much better in english than me trying tothranslate thing in my crap written German.

Ja mach ich harry
Leider war ich vorgestern im Krankenhaus weil ich schmerzen in meine nieren hatte und blut in meine urin. Muss am montag für eine "Harnsteinzertrümmerung mit stoßwellen" bahandelt die eine stationär behandlung ist (gott sei dank nur eine abend).
Aner mittwoch sollte ich schon was mindestens auf englisch haben.

irgendwann ja.
Ich möchte viel mehr in richtung seminaren und consulting gehen.
dafür wir dich wahrscheinlich mit eine paar andere spezis eine deutaschland tour machen.
Ist aber nicht bis spät sommer herbst geplannt.
