Google News - wie funktioniert die Teilnahme? Erfahrungen?

Hallo Forum!
Meine Website hat u. a. auch einen kleinen News-Bereich (ca. eine neue Meldung pro Tag). Leider werden die aktuellen Meldungen immer erst viel zu spät von den Suchmaschinen gelistet (der google-Robotor kommt nur alle 2 bis 3 Tage vorbei und blickt dann nur auf die Hauptseite), so dass sie für den Besucher nicht mehr interessant sind, da veraltet.
Nun habe ich überlegt, ob ich nicht auch News-Partner bei google werden könnte. Da ich aber nur eine vergleichsweise kleine und dazu private Homepage habe, bezweifle ich, dass ich Chancen hätte bei google aufgenommen zu werden.
Deswegen meine Frage: Hat jemand hier Erfahrung mit den Google News? Welche Voraussetzungen müssen erfüllt sein, um teilzunehmen?

Ich weis das Google per hand selektiert news seiten auf basis von pagerank, autorität zum thema, inhalt, wie oft aktualisiert, wer da hinter steht und viele andere kriteria.

news-feedback-de@google.com eine email, die überprüfen alle Vorschläge. Ob du genommen wirst, hängt rein von Google ab, welche Kriterien die verwenden weiss ich leider nicht.

Wir haben eine Authoritiy-Site mit PR6 und Platz 1 beim Hauptkeyword (mehrere Mio SERs zu diesem KW) sowie werktäglich aktualisierten News (so zwischen 3 und 5 durch eigene Redaktion, halbstündlich durch unseren eigenen Themen-Spider). Eine Anfrage bei news.gugl.de brachte jedoch leider nichts. War also offenbar nicht von Interesse. Seltsam jedoch, warum dann Gugl kleine Käseblätter-Zeitungen und Magazine für Meldungen zu unserem Themenumfeld abgrast...

Danke für die Hinweise!
Vor allem die Erfahrungen von @Brahms sind interessant. Wenn man mit einer offensichtlich erfolgreichen Seite mit aktuellen News nicht in den Google News etablieren kann, dann werden kleinere Site-Betreiber wohl kaum eine Chance haben. Wie @Brahms aber auch schrieb, gibt es auch einige kleine "Käseblätter", die in den google News vertreten sind. Also kann man es ja auf einen Versuch ankommen lassen. Ich jedenfalls werde es einfach mal probieren!
Sonst Niemand hier, der sich für die Google-News "beworben" hat?

Zur Info: Inzwischen habe ich an die von @viggen gepostete e-Mail-Adresse geschrieben und google gebeten mich als News-Seite aufzunehmen. Daraufhin kam folgende Antwort, die vielleicht auch andere Forumler hier interessiert:
Hi Christian,
Thank you for your note. We are working to increase our capacity to respond in German. At this time, however, we are only able to answer in English. We realize this is an inconvenience and we are striving to improve our service.
As you may know, Google News is highly unusual in that it offers a news service compiled solely by computer algorithms without human intervention. While the sources of the news vary in perspective and editorial approach, their selection for inclusion is done without regard to political viewpoint or ideology. Please be aware, however, that we do not currently include sites that are purely news aggregators. Similarly, we do not include news-related blogs or other news-related sites that are written and maintained by a single individual.
Google News currently gathers articles by crawling online news sites. Following are some general technical guidelines which will help our crawler to find and index articles from your site correctly:
1. In order for our crawler to correctly gather articles, each page that displays an article's full text needs to have a unique URL that does not change. We cannot include sites in Google News that display multiple articles at the same URL.
2. In addition, the URL for each article must contain a unique number consisting of at least 3 digits.
For example, our news crawler would not crawl articles with the following
URLs:
www.google.com/lemurs_in_the_mist.html
www.google.com/news/article23.html
It would crawl:
www.google.com/news/08112003/article.html
www.google.com/news/lemurs_in_the_mist/23467.html
3. You may also want to keep in mind that we cannot include sites where the URL of the main page includes a date. URLs with dates in them often change on a daily or weekly basis. This prevents us from crawling the site for new content, as we are unable to detect the most current URL to be crawled.
For example, if a URL changes from /novembernews.html to /decembernews.html, Google will continue to crawl the novembernews.html page, and thus not find any new content.
4. With regard to link structure: our automated crawler is currently best able to crawl regular HTML links. We are unable to crawl image links or links embedded in Javascript.
An example of a site that we are able to crawl successfully is
https://english.chosun.com . Please note that each article on this site has a highly unique and unchanging URL associated with it.

Da hätte ich natürlich selbst drauf kommen können, dass google nur englisch spricht... Aber wie werden dann deutsche News-Seiten bewertet? Ich kann mir kaum vorstellen, dass es nicht einen google-Beauftragten für Deutschland gibt. Nur wie erreiche ich diesen?
