Hi,

We all know that a link in a good directory does improve the ranks.
Especially DMOZ does help and i did notice this again last week when another site was listed and jumped to the top ranks in once.

Alexa does measure sites in worldranks...(traffic related)

https://www.alexa.com/data/details/?url=www.dmoz.org
https://www.alexa.com/data/details/?url ... oogle.com/
https://www.alexa.com/data/details/?url ... yahoo.com/
https://www.alexa.com/data/details/?url=www.gimpsy.com/

Could this same traffic details be used by Google in order to give a value for the outbound links ?

I mean to say that not looking at the PR....but looking at the traffic the link value could be set !!

Just give your opinion..like to know the opinion of the experts here.

Forgot to mention....

You see many DMOZ clones...and even some sites have a good PR...and sponsor links below....those linked sites DONT score....

This could be explained because of those traffic details
(because i don't think that those clone sites have high traffic details)
