:(

I am writing articles for different SEO companies in Europe, my frustration is that all of them give me different guidelines regarding SEO copywriting, is there a genius out there who can com out of his wonder lamp and tell be the real trough? A indicative list, which is certainly not covering all topics I have listed below. Useful – provable – reactions on these and other topics are more then welcome.

1. Number of words: between 200 and 1000 per page (Divine Write)
2. Go for a Site-Wide average keyword density of around 2% (Divine Write) 1% (Jigsaw Design) between 5% and 20% (Giacomo) between 5% and 20% (John Scott) between 12% and 24% (Googlerankings.com staff 06 11 2004)
3. Target One Keyword per page
4. Use the following setup of the page
a. H1 Title of the page
b. H2 Sub titles of the page
c. Normal text
5. Use Keywords in Links and Headings
6. Use the target Keyword for outbound links, but vary the anchor text remaining consistent with your site content
7. Put target keyword link toward the top of the page
8. Use the three top keywords in the H1, H2 , H3 in that sequence.
9. Brake up your text into logical sections using keyword rich headings
10. Use Keywords in the top of the page (first sentence)
11. Use Keyword Once in Bold
12. Use Keyword Once in Italic
13. Use Bold, Italic, bullet lists and numbered lists around the important Keywords. (max 9 items)
14. Each paragraph should include only one main idea
15. Start with the conclusion and a short summary of the remaining contents (inverted pyramid style)
