Cloaking oder nicht?

Hallo zusammen

Ich hab ne Frage bezüglich Cloaking:

Wenn ich auf einer Page Werbung schalte, dann kann ich das mit passender Software ja auch abhängig vom Besucher machen.

Das bedeutet dann aber auch, dass der Googlebot etwas anderes bzw. eine bestimmte Werbung, welche nur für Besucher aus der Schweiz interessant ist, gar nicht erst sieht.

Geht so etwas auch schon unter Cloaking oder ist Cloaking wirklich erst der Fall, wenn jemand die Seite für den Bot so umschreibt, dass leere Versprechungen gemacht werden?!

No and yes....

If yes....then google would be also cloaking because they show ads on location basis.

I say No...because they are not hiding something....at least not really hiding something if you are in the right area.

Cloaking is showing TOTALLY other content to an SE than to a visitor.
by changing ads related to the visitors location i would not call it a cloaked page.

about cloaking itself...

A prefect clocked page can be made not to difficult on the other hand...
in PHP you can easy set 2 complete html pages...with all IP from google known...
on a simple script its easy to show another page then if a google IP is identified !!

its wise to disable the google cache....and to keep the discription and title the same......this way it will hard to PROOF for the competion your cloaked page !!

This technique can also be usefull to optimize one page for 2 different Search engines who have a complete different algo..
