Was haltet ihr von GoGuides.org und JoeAnt.com?

Lohnt es sich dort einzutragen, bzw ist da einer Editor?

Ja, die plus übrigens Gimpsy lohnen eine Eintrag (PR). Aber ich glaube man ist mit englischsprachige seiten begrenzt.

(https://www.abakus-internet-marketing.d ... ries-4.htm noch nicht veröffentlich aber fertig eigentlich. Goguides kommt vieleicht auch irgendwann dazu).

My German is bad so I may have read this discussion wrong. If so, I apologize. (I also apologize for not writing in German. I have not used any German since I was a small child.)

Aber ich glaube man ist mit englischsprachige seiten begrenzt.

GoGuides.Org will accept various language sites. They do not have to be in English. Only the description needs to be written in English.

We could use some German/English speaking editors.

Many thanks for that. I'm sure I read that only english pages were accpeted somewhere.
Anyway, that's good news and if you need help I'm sure I could find the time to take on a category or two.

BTW, https://www.abakus-internet-marketing.de/en/ needs to go. Do I need to become an editor for that?

I'll be including goguides.org on my directory pages as soon as I find the time to have a good look through your site.

Also, auf deutsch. tlpretender sagte gerade das man doch deutschsprachige Seiten anmelden dürfen, aber die beschreibung muss allerdings auf Englisch sein. Die sind auf die suche für redakteure (editor) die deutsch english kann (Beschreibungen auf Englisch nicht vergessern). Falls du interesse hattest melden euch.

oh cool, an orginal gg.org administrative here on abakus

so i ve a question to you, tlpretender:
do you plan an international part on gg.org like world/deutsch or world/svenska in future?
and why you switch to paid inclusion on gg.org and joeant...because i ve read something like "spam free directory..." well, paid inclusion will bring money but also it will produce submissions which are not represent the quality to join a catagory...
so, i think, new editors on gg.org need to be quit if they want to modify some submissions if they paid for inclusion... is this true?

Good questions. Thank you for asking them. I'll do my best to answer each.

Eventually. We actually considered it when we started GoGuides.Org, but decided it was best to wait. At the time, it would have spread the available guides too thin. Many of the World topics would have remained empty for such a long time that it would have decreased the directory's value. Also, we did not have enough trusted guides with multiple language skills to properly monitor the development of the World categories. Currently, we could probably start a couple of language areas. Spanish in particular as we have a strong presence in Mexico/Latin America areas.

GoGuides.Org does not have a paid inclusion program. GoGuides.Org does have a paid 'review' program called 'Express Review'. This will get a submission reviewed within two US/UK Business Days. This does not guarantee inclusion in the directory - only a review to be included or declined. All sites that are to be included in the directory must comply to our guidelines to be listed - paid submission or unpaid submission. To do otherwise would work against our goal of a Spam Free Directory. Only Team Support (admin) members are able to edit paid submissions.

We actually turned off our 'free' submission form temporarily while we catch up on the pending backlog of submissions in queue. We did not want to completely stop new submissions, so we left the 'Express Review' program in place, as well as, the option to become a guide. Once an individual has applied and been accepted to be a guide, they can then add and/or edit sites in the directory. The application will require that a person read the guidelines and demonstrate that they can follow these. Doing a little bit of pre-work will make the application process painless.

I hope that helps answer a couple of questions.

Do you intend to re-include a free submission link for those that do not have the time/will to become editors themselves?

Hopefully soon. We are making nice progress on the pending reviews. I do not have a good time frame as of yet to say when the option will be made available again.
