At the moment I am split testing my display urls.
Since google only allows 1 display url per adgroup I need two different campaigns to test it since I use day parting to let one campaign run 50% of the day and the other one the other 50% of the day.
I use exactly the same campaigns (same keywords, same setting, same ads etc.). I only change the display url to test the difference in CTR and conversions.
However, google does not allow me to show campaign number 2 because of a bad quality score.
because everything except the display url is the same for both campaigns I think the quality score of campaign number 2 is worse due to duplicate content. However, since I never show the same page at the same time (campaign 1 runs 50% of the day while campaign 2 runs the other 50% of the day) I DO NOT use duplicate content here and am not responsible for a bad user experience.
My question: How do I solve this problem - OR: how can I split test display URLs if google thinks I use duplicate content although I do not and my 2nd campaign is not shown?!
