Vererbung in Sitemap / Indizes

Hi,

ich versuche schon seit längerem vergeblich eine Sitemap bzw. Produktindex hinzubekommen bei denen die Vererbung -1 pro Unterseite ist.

Das schaffe ich aber bei keinem meiner Projekte.

Kann es sein, dass Google Sitemaps ganz gut erkennt und hier die Vererbung einschränkt?

Ich habe hier nie mehr als 150 interne Links (es sind zwar noch sehr viele, aber anders geht es nicht - und auf "normalen" Seiten habe ich teilweise auch so viele interne Links und optimale Vererbung), hab viel Text mit eingebaut so dass es keine reine "interne Linkliste" ist.
Aber es klappt irgendwie nicht.

Startseite auf Sitemap -1 . Dann aber bei der Sitemap jeweils -2 Vererbung.

Hat hier jemand Erfahrungen und Erkenntnisse wie man Sitemaps optimal gestalten kann?

Wollte ich auch gerade vorschlagen. Seiten mit mehr als 100 Links scheinen von Google (so gut wie) nicht bewertet zu werden.

Ich habe auf einer meiner Domains eine als Sitemap deklarierte Seite (Titel, Ueberschrift, Anordnung einer Sitemap), die ihren PR -1 auf die anderen Seiten der Page ohne Probleme vererbt.

Also, ich habe auch bei 700 Links pro Seite keine Probleme.

Sitemap selber PR3 Unterseiten unterschiedlich..weil unterschiedlich verlinkt..aber mindestens PR2

Ich glaube fast das die Geschichte mit den 100 Links nicht ganz stimmt....kann das obige Ergebnis bei mehreren Domains beobachten.

Mit ist es erst vor kurzem passiert wo ich neue Seiten in eine Sitemap aufgenommen habe, hatte ich übersehen daß es nun knapp über 100 sind. Nach ein paar Tagen gingen für diese verlinkten Seiten das Ranking und Besucher über Google merklich nach unten.
Nach einer Aufteilung in zwei Sitemaps ist der Traffic wieder höher!

Auch wenn du bisher keine Probleme hattest solltest du die 700 Links doch lieber auf mehrere Seiten verteilen. Ich bin zum Beispiel der Meinung, dass man bei der Optimierung moeglichst saubere Seiten erstellen sollte. Zum sauber sein gehoert dann meiner Meinung nach auch die Beachtung der Google Guidelines dazu, in denen aufgelistet ist, dass man nicht mehr als 100 Links auf eine Webpage packen soll.

Waere doch auch zu schade, wenn die gesamte Page auf einmal langsam aber stetig fallen wuerde...

Sicherlich kann es nicht schaden, die Sitemap auf 100 Links pro Seite zu teilen.

Ich frage mich nur..warum ich es machen sollte, wenn die Seiten schon so lange im Index stehen und PR vererbt wird.

Hier wäre evtl. mal interessant von anderen zu hören, ob Sie nach der Teilung probleme hatten. Oder...ob andere wie ich große Sitemaps ohne Probleme betreiben.

So könnte man zumindest erfahren wie es in der Praxis aussieht.

The latest PR update show that PR is going more easy down when there are many links on it who share it.

To have the best PR.....on each page is not easy but you should remember that if you link from a sitemap then all should also link back to it.

Best way (also what i prefer) is many direct links from the main page..
If text links are a problem the do it with graphics (not hidden ones)

I mean it's just a bit difficult to put (let's say) 200-400 text-links or visible graphic-links on the main page (if your domain contains so much pages)

What would you suggest here?

As example....slice a picture or logo in small pics....put a link on it...

(lets say you have a logo...... 400 x 150 pixs...you can make a lot small ones out of that)

(1) A SE will not ban your site for this because you do nothing more then getting pages found !!

(2) You do it on a way so that it is not disturbing your visitors because they will use the normal menu...

It's also usefull to create many entrance pages but don't want visitors to get lost in those...(those pages should have reall content...not doorways)

(3) you prevent also that other copying your pictures unless they want to put them together again.

You can hide a picture also...

example... Same colour as the background...
example....Put a layer above it.....like flash the link will then be gone
example....put a layer above it and place an image in this layer...other image and link gone
example....place a flash file in a layer over it.....also gone.

But hey...want to do it simple...
make a frames page....ONLY for the main page...
the top frame is 0 pix high....and put all links in the noframes page..

done..

Links in Noframe-Tags in a frameset doesn't work anymore (since two years)! The only result is, that the text of the links appears in the sniplets of the serps. The robots don't follow those links!!!

But you can hide links in a Noframe-Tag on a normal html-page. That works taday.

Hi Charles,
There are many frame sites who have links in the noframe page to other pages in this site.

The problem what mostly occurs is that google does follow the links, does index the page....those pages show up in the results...but when clicked on it and using it as an entrance page....no menu is displayed.

I get almost weekly sites from companies who are facing this problem and rebuild the basic structure for them...

I could give you 20 examples as least....but i want to make a bet with you first because you seemed to be very conviced in this.

Just say how much you like to spend ?

sorry i don't bet! Are you sure, that the links are only in the noframe-Tag on the frameset page???

Google follows frametags like <frame name="mainFrame" src="main.htm">. Thats the reason, why pages in frames like main.htm are in the serps without the menu!

Make a new page on a website and put only one link in the <noframes> tag on the frameset and nothing else, than you will see, that my opinion is true!

He is right Optimizer, links in noframe no longer get followed and in fact the whole noframe area has been given considerably less weight thatn it used to have. You sohuld focus more in the main framed pages than the noframe area of your frameset page nowadays. There were several tests carried out that proved that noframe links were not followed. google finds the pages through the framed pages top.htm or left.htm etc. [note to self: update the tutorial]
