I have a domain, a sort of linkpage/startpage which is using a php relink script in order not to give PR away because some page have more then 200 links.
The links show like this...
https://www.domain.com/relink.php?domain=test.com
my robots.txt have this line.
Disallow: relink.php
Now it comes...
If i remove this relink.php in my robots.txt then google is seeing the links as new pages outside my site and the option site:www.domain.com does show only the normal pages for the biggest part. (after all has been refreshed)
If you add this line to the robots.txt then google sees all outgoing links as pages from my site....so now i am back on 3700 pages...but the site has only 50 pages max.
Who has seen this relink option before and noticed this.
I think there could also be an advantage in the whole story if links can be added in the relink script...it would mean that even in relinking you can promote pages with links.
