Top ranks....how to get them.

Hi all,

Some time ago when i posted here and some might be wondering where is optimizer

Well i was in a tropical country enjoying life and did some scuba diving...

But ok, enough about that...

Google has changed a bit their algo in the last months and i seems that old sites get more stronger then before. There is a relation between some things and to make it more clear i will put some things here in line.

(1) i site should be at least 1 1/2 years online....(always)
(2) a site should be optimized but not over optimized.
(3) the site should have some quality inbound links and not many outgoing links. (dmoz helps)

These inbound links should have a reasonable ALEXA rank...as this is an
indication for the value of the incoming link and NOT the PR.

If you study google well then you will notice, and yes it might be sounding strange to some...an increase in traffic will give you better ranks at the next update. The other end may also be true, so getting less visitors means also lower ranks later....who saw that also happen ????

I guess you all heard the story about google hiring an Australian kid with a new algo. With a google account you have now also the option to optimize your search results.

This was keeping me busy now...for some time.

I think that SEO is now half the part...and the rest has to be done with traffic....

For the newbees....i do and can read german, but can explain

Probably on the Red Sea cost in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, one of the best scubadive grounds.

Less is is still ok.

Alexa Rank of >50.000 is doubtful.

If you study google well then you will notice, and yes it might be sounding strange to some...an increase in traffic will give you better ranks at the next update. The other end may also be true, so getting less visitors means also lower ranks later...

That is like losing the battle...worked before....now dont...

Make satellite sites...and get them strong on inbound links and content.
Then link them in my linkstructure together (think you remember that one also )

Can tell you..it works now better then before....and each satellite site gaining rank let the main site go sky high....

Did see some googlesharks at 30 Mtrs deep...
It had just eaten a yahoofish....so i could come close with my MSNightcamera.

Well, that`s it! Excluded that things about the outgoing links...
the !NUMBER! of out-going-links are never bad....

..ich stimme da mehr Optimizer zu. Nach meiner Meinung hat es zumindest bei Domains mit Autoritätsstatus einen deutlichen Einfluss, wieviele Links von dieser Domain abgehen.

Das ist Unsinn. Der Alexrank hat mit Linkpop genausowenig zu tun wie der PR, er sagt nur wieviele SEOs die Seite als Besucher hat... Linkpop kommt von wo anders...

Es ist Fakt, dass der Algo dynamisch ist, das wissen wir ja alle. Was die meisten jedoch unterschätze (oder nicht verstehen wollen) ist, dass eine Seite, je älter sie wird, mehr Autorität bekommt und somit nach vorne driftet, ganz von alleine, ganz ohne jegliche Optimierung ohne hunderte Backlinks ohne PR ohne Alexa.

Time´s SEOs best (and only real) friend...

Meine neuen (unwichtigeren) Seiten optimiere ich absolut nicht (bzw nur noch grad so, dass sie nicht durchs Sieb fallen) und tausche auch nur für die Basis zwei, drei Links. Die liegen dann 1-2 Jahre auf Halde und danach sind sie in den Top 10. Punkt. Bei harten KW dauerst 1 Jahr länger. So einfach ist das im Prinzip. Ich mach das seit Jahren so, sehr erfolgreich.

Je älter eine Seite, desto weniger Filter greifen bei ihr und ich hab das Gefühl, dass Seiten "der ersten Stunde" frei von jeglichen Filtermechanismen sind.

Neue Seite: Ja, ist zu Beginn hilfreich.
Wenn (1), ist es jedoch nicht unbedingt notwendig.

Ich muss AnjaK in allen Punkten zustimmen.
Der Alexa-Rank ist ein Indikator für die Anzahl von Besuchern einer Domain.
Es könnte verständlicherweise sein dass, Links von solchen high-Alexa-Rank sites die eigene Seite fördern. Die Linkpower die solche Sites aufgebaut haben um auf solch einen Besucherstrom zu kommen und damit auch den Alexa Rank, wird bei einer Verlinkung auch weitervererbt. Linkpower und Alexa-Rank stehen meiner Ansicht nach also in keinerleich Relation was die Linkqualität angeht.

Alexa is a traffic indication....

The new algo is part based on a traffic indication that google gets from google account users....and search results/klicks to specific links.

An algo based on what users are searching for...finding and spending a specific time with is to good to be true but this is what google is doing right now.

In fact you can already with a google account manipulate your own serps as a test
and the link alexa <> google is already an old story....but i do see the relation.

Schön, schön: ein Inselphänomen also, ein in sich geschlossenes System, das Marketing-Nirwana schlechthin.
Oder aber auch die Parallele zu Schrödingers Katze bezogen auf das Suchmaschinen-Universum. Quanten-Google, sozusagen. Da das aber niemand nachvollziehen kann, solange er die Kiste nicht aufgemacht hat, bleibt uns nur, um einen Dosenöffner zu bitten. Aber den gibt man uns nicht. Zu schön um wahr zu sein. Die Sonne scheint, die Vögel zwitschern und über eine blühende Wiese kommt ein wunderschönes Mädchen mit engelsgleichem, blondem Haar auf mich zugeschwebt, setzt sich auf meinen Schoß und steckt mir die Zunge in's Ohr.
Schade, daß man von diesem angeblichen Algo nix merkt, denn die Relevanz ist nachgerade im Keller angekommen und von einem intelligentem Algo habe ich nun wirklich noch nichts bemerkt. Es ist eine stupide Filterung nach Keywordhäufung ohne Analogien herzustellen. Man sollte Mattie nicht alles glauben, was er so hinter sich läßt, das riecht nämlich zu sehr. Der momentane Algo ist schlichtweg so strunzdumm wie ein Computer und niemand haucht ihm Leben ein.

Kann sein. Aber um Google zu manipulieren brauche ich weder besagten Account noch Alexa.
Der Aufwand um Google zu manipulieren ist gen null, insbesondere nach Big DPfiff.
All you need is time and patience, nicht Grips.

Isser nicht.
Oder, na ja, vielleicht ein Indikator, aber ein relativ wertfreier.
Mal ganz davon abgesehen, daß ich eine Suchmaschine, die WhoIs-Daten ungefragt rauswirft, für eine Schweinemaschine halte, kann ich einen ganzen Sack voll Domains vorweisen, die täglich fünfstellig unique visitors haben und von Alexa mit no data gewürdigt werden.
Was soll das also für ein Indikator sein???

Its simple what google is up to...

By collecting data from a specific user it creates serps for this specific user.

And you can bet on it that what many users find a good site....so spend a lot time on reading before they search on google again will be evaluated more higher in the new to come ranks for all users

This way spam does not get a chance....as nobody spends a lot time on a fake or spammy site....

This way users get what they want, the results they want to see at a specific query.

For this reason my conclusion that the future will be half SEO and half traffic that will decide how high a site will rank.

In fact...i have proof on different sites in combination with ranks that the more traffic it gets, the more higher the rank will be in the next update but also the opposite.

Diese Geschichte mit der Traffic Qualität Bewertung erinnert mich an meinen SEO Bewerb mit dem netten Key Haltezeitmessungen, die Idee war vor 2 Jahren schon da..
Wer Content und qualitätraffic hat braucht sich aber sowieso keine Sorgen zu machen

Das ist exakt der Punkt.
Optimiert auf Menschen nicht auf Maschinen!
Längerfristig ist das besser für die Herzgesundheit als jedes halbe Jahr einen neuen Googlepfusch zu bejammern.
